DEBUTANTES - EVENING LADIES

 

 

Rules and Regulations

 

1.         All curlers playing in this event must be a member of a club belonging to the LCA.

 

2.         Curl Canada rules shall apply, including L.C.A. Amendments.

 

3.         Entry fee shall be set by the L.C.A.

 

4.         One day only.  Two 8-end games at the same club.

 

5.         5 year and under curlers only.

 

6.         Point system in effect:    5 points for a win

                                                       2½ points for a tie

                                                       2 points for an end

                                                       1 point for each blank end plus ½ difference in score

 

7.         In case of default, the team willing to play is awarded 17½ points.

 

8.         Ties for winners or runners-up to be broken by

            (a) the better win-loss record to be considered first; if still tied

            (b) the total percentage will be used.

 

9.         Composite rinks allowed.

2019

Only clubs belonging to the LCA may enter this competition. Composite rinks are allowed. 5 year and under Evening Lady curlers. One day only. Two 8-end games at the same club.

Point system in effect: 10 points for a win 5 points for a tie 2 points for an end 1 point for each blank end plus 1/2 difference in score. In case of default, the team ready to play is awarded 17 1/2 points.Ties for winners or runners-up to be broken by: a) the better win-loss record to be considered first; if still tied b) the total percentage will be used.
