1. All curlers playing in this event must be a member of a club belonging to the LCA.
2. Curl Canada rules shall apply, including LCA Amendments.
3. Entry fee shall be set by the LCA.
4. All games to be 8 ends except the Championship games between District 1 and District 2 which will be 10 ends..
5. Unlimited entries. Two games guaranteed.
6. There are two trophies: L.C.A. and GILLIES-WALLINGFORD. The winners of the first game play in the LCA event and the losers play in the Gillies-Wallingford event.
7. The Championship Finals will be held alternately in District 1 and District 2. A tie game will be broken by an extra end.
8. Winning clubs shall be responsible for returning trophies and carrying cases to the LCA.
9. Entries shall be composed of members of Evening Ladies and Business Girls sections of Clubs.
10. Composite rinks allowed.
11. A player, who has been eliminated from this competition, may not be used as a substitute on another rink.

Open to LCA curlers who curl Evening or Business Ladies in their club. Open entry, composite rinks permitted. Championship finals alternate each year between District 1 and 2.
L.C.A. Evening Ladies Trophy - Originally Business Girls Trophy the trophy was bought by the LCA in 1968. In 1977-78 Business Girls and Evening Ladies competitions combined into "Evening Ladies". The original Evening Ladies Trophy was lost in the St. Lambert Curling Club fire in January 2002 and a replacement trophy was donated by the Town of Mount Royal Curling Club.
District winners receive pins engraved "Evening Ladies" (gilt)
Runners-up receive pins engraved "Evening Ladies" (silver) unless entries are limited.

Gillies-Wallingford Trophy - second event was donated to the LCA by Kay Gillies and Velma Wallingford in 1976 for the Evening Ladies competition (Engraved Wallingford-Gillies)
